Early Life and Background of Confucius or  Kong Fuzi or Kongzi.

Confucius was born in 551 BC in Lu Province (now Shandong Province). His real name was Kong Qiu . He came from a humble but respected family.

His father's name was He Shuliang .He was a soldier, and his mother's name was Yan Zheng, she was a virtuous and kind woman. Confucius' parents put in his respect for tradition, ritual, and ancestors.
